Had a good time at the Tech Cocktail DC last night! It was good catching with various local people and their start-up activities.



I may have to write more later, but what caught my attention most was what mixx.com and summize.com have been doing.

Mixx continues to crank out compelling new features via their social news site; Summize has been making waves with their recently released Twitter Search.

Good signs that the local tech heart within the metro area is still healthy and pumping.

As another note, I caught up with an ex-AOLer who now works with MyStrands, focusing on social networking, services, and personalization for them. Again, great stuff.
